FREDERICK, MD - A local baseball stadium will make it into the national limelight Monday.

The Frederick Keys baseball team don't start their regular season until April, but they feel like they just hit a home run.

"We were contacted by the Frederick Film Office about the possibility of having the show The Biggest Loser at the Harry Grove Stadium," says Adam Pohl, assistant general manager of the Frederick Keys.

NBC filmed at the Harry Grove Stadium in November with 13-year-old Noah "Biingo" Gray from New Windsor.

This is the first Biggest Loser season to feature kids.

"They want to show that working out and exercising isn't all dreary," Pohl says. "It's not all about being on a treadmill, especially for a young kid and for someone who's passion is baseball. Baseball is also exercise, and it's a fun activity."

Biingo is an avid Keys fan. Now he brings his love of the team to the national stage.

"I think that for a lot of people that are both in the area or even outside the area, but have tied to Keys baseball in the past, there's going to be an excitement to seeing the Keys, the jersey and everything like that, the ballpark, the beautiful park, on national TV," says Pohl.

Those with the Frederick Keys hope the national attention will be a springboard into the new season as they get ready to play ball.

"There's a lot of excitement for what's coming up here for the Keys, and having The Biggest Loser is a big piece of that puzzle," says Pohl. 

That's a piece of the puzzle which could continue throughout this season of The Biggest Loser. Pohl says the stadium may be featured in future episodes with both Biingo and the Keys stepping up to the plate.
