Wrong-Way Crash Kills One On Interstate 81 In Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, WV-One person has died in a crash on Interstate 81 in Berkeley County.
Police say Around 2 am, an SUV got onto the Exit 5 ramp in Inwood driving south, going the wrong way and crashed into a tractor trailer on I-81 North. Both vehicles burst into flames. The driver of the SUV died instantly. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured, but a passenger in the truck had minor injuries and was transported to Martinsburg City Hospital.
The Interstate was closed for 7 hours. The accident is still under investigation. Police have yet to release the identity of the victim.
