Jefferson County Flooding Update

Updates on the River Crests in Jefferson County, Customer Power Outages, and Shelters

The Shenandoah River at Millville will crest at 10.2 feet later this morning. Flood stage is 10 feet. Minor flood is expected.

The Potomac River at Harpers Ferry is estimated to crest at Harpers Ferry at 18.5 feet on Wednesday afternoon. Flood stage at Harpers Ferry is 18 feet. Minor flooding is expected.

The Opequon Creek crested at 13.46 feet overnight. Floodstage on the Opequon is 10 feet. Minor flooding will continue today.

As of 4 p.m., the shelter at the Ranson Senior Center is still open.
