Pieter Bickford is back home. He is a former reporter at NBC25 who has returned to the station as its Assistant News Director and Co-Anchor on the News at Six. Pieter grew up in Hagerstown, graduated from North Hagerstown High School, and still lives in the area with his wife and daughter. Pieter comes to us from WBAL Radio in Baltimore, where he won two national Edward R. Murrow Awards -- one of the most prestigious honors in broadcasting. Pieter has also worked at Maryland Public Television and WFMD Radio, and he is an adjunct professor at Hood College in Frederick.
