Two Local Areas, Very Different Smoking Habits

NBC25 - Two local areas have made CDC lists for the smokiest and smoke-free places in the country.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the Hagerstown/Martinsburg area has the second highest percentage of smokers in the country.
They report that 28.9% of people living in the Hagerstown/Martinsburg area smoke.
The Frederick/Bethesda/Gaithersburg area was named the fourth most smoke-free metro area in the nation.
The CDC reports that 90.9% of residents living in the Frederick/Bethesda/Gaithersburg area do not smoke.
