WILLIAMSPORT, MD - Since eight-year-old David Greeley was hit while riding his bicycle in August, he's been recovering in the hospital, suffering from traumatic injuries and even had one of his legs amputated.
David's family says he's making strides towards recovery, and they hope to have him out of the hospital sometime in January.
But in the meantime, while he's getting better, his medical bills are getting bigger. The community around David has rallied together to help him through fundraisers, benefits, and now a little magic.
Click the "play" icon to see Allan Grove, president of the King Magic Ring and Frank Culler join NBC25's Nikki Burdine. They're heading up a magic show that will take place Friday night with 100% of the proceeds going to help David and his family.
The show is being held at the Williamsport American Legion from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and tickets cost $7. For more information, call (717) 830-5124.
