MERCERSBURG, PA - Police in Pennsylvania are searching for several men who terrorized and robbed a family early Friday morning in Mercersburg.

Just before 2:00 a.m., Paul and Sharon Nagy, both age 62, had a rude awakening when several armed men burst in their bedroom and started making threats and demands.

It all happened inside the Nagy's home on Mountain Road near Mercersburg. Police say the intruders climbed through a small basement window and made it up to the master bedroom un-noticed by the sleeping family.

At least two of the men had guns and tied up the couple in their own bedroom. The suspects then demanded money, which the couple gave up along with some jewelry.

The Nagy's were then shoved into their bedroom closet and the men pushed the bed in front of the door, trapping them.

Meanwhile, the Nagy's 32-year-old daughter, Sarah, was also terrorized in her bedroom.

Police think the family was targeted, and they say they haven't seen similar activity in the area.

Investigators do not have a clear description of the suspects because the family said it was too dark to get a good look.
