Student Wins Chance to Sing at MSO's "Home for the Holi...Reported by: Mary King

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD- As we come to the end of October, that means Christmas is just around the corner.
The Maryland Symphony Orchestra helps usher in the Christmas spirit every year with their “Home for the Holidays” concert.
For the first time ever, the MSO held a contest for students throughout the Four-State region to win the opportunity to sing on stage with the Orchestra at this years concert.
NBC25’s Mary King sat down with the Executive Director of the MSO, Andrew Kipe, and the winner of this year's contest, Kristen DiMercurio, a senior at St. Maria Goretti High School, to learn more.The “Home for the Holidays” concert will be held at the Maryland Theatre on December 19th and 20th.
