WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - Mike Stouffer, Corrections Commissioner of Maryland's prisons, handed out a big thank you today to local fire and rescue crews, honoring staff from Boonsboro, Fairplay, Funkstown and Community Rescue.
They've responded to 111 calls at the three prisons so far this year.
Commissioner Stouffer told them that emergency response is critical, and the inmates and staff wanted to thank them for providing the vital service. -
