At this point officials believe the fire was accidentally started by workers. The sprinkler system helped to stop the fire from spreading, and employees got out safely. The paper mill handles lots of recyclable papers, and fire officials say they get calls there often. According to the factory’s website the building is around 20 years old and the company employs over 70 workers. The building was not severely damaged. |
