Reported by: Jackie Cutler Monday, Feb 9, 2009 @08:20pm EST FREDERICK, MD - Frederick's Animal Welfare League is now offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who dumped 28 dogs on the side of the road last week.
It happened on one of the coldest days of the year. The dogs, all small breed, were found wandering the streets in Frederick County. Adoptions start Tuesday for the pups. The president of the Animal Welfare League calls the incident a tragedy of multiple dimensions. Anyone with information on who may have dumped the dogs should contact Frederick County Animal Control.
