Before working for NBC25, Jeannie interned with the news department during the spring of 2008.  Prior to that, Jeannie completed a news and sports internship with ABC 27 in Harrisburg.  All of her internships prepared and inspired Jeannie for a career in television news. 

Jeannie graduated from Cum Laude from Shippensburg University in May 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication/Journalism, and a minor in English.  While at Shippensburg, Jeannie was very involved with campus organizations.  She reported, anchored, and produced for her campus television station, SUTV.  She was also a member of the National Broadcasting Society, the Honors Program, Order of Omega, and served as president for the Kappa Psi chapter of Delta Zeta. 

While not at the station, Jeannie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and trying new things.  She is a pre-professionally trained ballerina and enjoys dancing, choreographing, teaching, and watching ballet.
