HAGERSTOWN, MD – Kermit The Frog use to say its not easy being green, but a local paper company is showing its customers that it may be easier than they think.
Eco-Friendly Services and Products from more than 50 vendors were all at the Weiss Brothers of Hagerstown’s Trade Show. The company hosts the event every two to three years.
This year is the company's 70th anniversary. Highlights from the event include household cleaners made of lemon juice and a drivable mop machine which conserves water. Richard Weiss, President of Weiss Brothers, said the focus was about taking care of the earth.

"We have paper type cups made out of corn. We have plastic type utensils made out of corn and wheat, and it’s just the new wave of what is going on, so we need to show our customers that type of product," said Richard Weiss, President of Weiss Brothers.
More than 600 people attended the event. Aside from going green, one other incentive was the raffle prize of a 50-inch plasma TV.
