NBC NEWS - Living the green life just got easier for babies.

Even before Emma Chloe came into this world, Mom and Dad felt the need to change.

"This is her world now, and unfortunately it's not about us anymore.  It's really about baby and we want to protect her world and make sure she lives in a healthy place," says her mom, Karen Firsel.

It’s the same sentiment felt by many parents, and the vision behind Deree Kobets’ labor of love, ”Grow.”  Grow offers everything green for baby.

Kobets explains, "Especially with babies.  They are just an extension of ourselves, so we should, like the earth, give them back to it."

Grow's products focus on function and being green.  They offer chemical-free mattresses, clothing, car seats and toys.

It's not just the products at Grow that are green, but the business is as well.

"We package in recyclable materials, we have all recyclable gift wrap.  I think there is so much growth to be had, and so much more green to promote," Kobets adds.

Firsel says, "There is one world, we want to do everything we can to keep it."
