TOYS FOR TOTS COLLECTION SITE.

Hagerstown MD (November 1, 2008) – Long & Foster’s Hagerstown office is proud to announce the launch of its annual toy drive to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ annual Toys For Tots program. Long & Foster asks that donated toys be new and unwrapped. Toys may be dropped off seven days a week at Long & Foster’s Hagerstown office located at 1100 Dual Highway prior to December 15, 2008.

Once the toys are collected and presented to area Marines, they are distributed to local churches, social welfare agencies and to needy children throughout the region.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots program began with a single campaign in 1947. This year, local campaigns will be conducted in 647 communities covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

Last year’s national Toys For Tots campaign distributed 16.7 million toys benefiting 7.5 million needy children. Last year, Long & Foster collected thousands of new toys throughout its entire seven state service area.
