Community Foundations help people support the causes they care about most by creating, managing and administering permanent charitable funds, as well as donor-advised funds.

Establishing a permanent fund allows donors to support specific areas of education, honor loved ones or support a particular nonprofit organization.  An outright gift of cash or property, or a variety of other assets, can be structured to meet your current and future charitable goals while establishing a permanent legacy in your or your family's name.

You can also make a gift to an existing fund. Each Community Foundation manages funds that advance a range of charitable causes including the arts, human and social services, health care, education, faith-based organizations, civic projects, environmental matters and historic preservation.

Make the gift of a lifetime.

A Community Foundation is your partner

in creating positive and lasting change.

For good. Forever.

Community Foundations are tax-exempt public charities. In addition to professional staff, they are overseen by a volunteer board with expertise in identifying their communities' needs. Community Foundations provide an array of services to donors who wish to establish permanent funds without incurring the administrative and legal costs of starting independent foundations. Community Foundations recommend consulting with your attorney, banker, accountant or financial planner before making a gift.
