Dana joined WHAG as a news reporter in January 2012. She earned her Bachelor's in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan where she played right wing on the Women's Ice Hockey team. Dana is a former public school teacher, holds a Master's in Special Education, and is a proud member of RTDNA.

Dana caught the news bug when she seized an opportunity to intern with the Bay Area's top local news station, KTVU. It only took days for her to fall in love with the fast-paced energy of a newsroom, along with the thought of researching and interviewing new people every day.

An avid rock climber and snowboarder, Dana is excited to spend time in the beautiful outdoors of the Four State area. She loves to cook and travel. Dana spent a summer interning in Ghana, a semester studying in New Zealand, and a summer backpacking across South America. She is excited to explore the East Coast and live only a drive away from her home in the Metro Detroit area!
