Alan began his career at WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland where he worked as the weekend and fill-in Meteorologist for a year. He was also a weather producer for WJLA in Washington, DC where he learned from some of the best meteorologists in the business.
Alan earned his Bachelor's degree from Millersville University, where he delivered the weather for MUTV. He looks back now and laughs at his performance, but is thankful for the opportunity before entering the real world of television.
Alan was raised in Southern Maryland so he feels right at home in the four state area. Living in Maryland his whole life, he has witnessed and experienced the complex weather patterns that affect our area. Alan has enjoyed the weather since he was a young boy. His friends and family always turned to him for the latest forecast, especially during snowstorms.

When he is not forecasting the weather, Alan likes to spend time outdoors, landscaping, hiking, and relaxing with family and friends.
